3 BR – Villa Galilea in Kikita Beach

This home is only 5 minutes from local restaurants and 30 minutes away from the heart of San Juan. Located in Dorado, the home is oceanfront and has a path to the ocean from the backyard. A short walk away from one of the Island’s best surf spots, Kikita Beach, you can join in the fun, lounge on the beach, soak in the tide pools, or just watch the local surfers from your own balcony. Whether you are looking for an adventure or a relaxing getaway, this is the perfect place!

The space which is a beautifully-decorated oceanfront home with spectacular views of the ocean is yours to enjoy! Kikita Beach is a short walk away and is one of the best surf spots on the Island. The beach also has a large, sandy area for lounging and tide pools to cool off in.

The house is essentially two units which we have listed together as one so that our guests will enjoy the entire property without sharing. The top unit is two bedrooms and three full bathrooms with a kitchen, living room, dining area, balcony, and front porch. The bottom unit is an open-concept studio with one full bathroom and one bedroom which is open to the kitchen and living space and has its own porch as well, facing the ocean. There is a washer and dryer available for your use on the property.

The neighborhood has several options for food and drink. Whether you are looking for empanadas and beer to go to or local cuisine and specialty drinks while overlooking the ocean, you have these options within walking distance! There are also mini-marts where you can get your essentials.

The house is located in a typical old Puerto Rico community. A lot of people in the neighborhood do not fence their animals, so you will see people’s dogs, cats, and chickens roaming freely a lot of times. The neighbor next door also has roosters and a couple of horses in his backyard.

We do recommend renting a car for your stay. There are several places within walking distance but you will enjoy the Island more if you have your own transportation.

We do recommend renting a vehicle if you plan to explore the Island or even just explore the town of Dorado. You can reserve taxis, but Uber is unreliable in the area.

If you do decide not to rent a vehicle, there are several things to do and see in the neighborhood, such as… There is a park Ojo de Buey with trails along the ocean and river mouth. There is a sandy little cove “pozita” a few blocks from the house that you can swim in (depending on the tide). Kikita Beach a couple of blocks away is a great place to lounge, watch the surf, and cool off in tide pools. There are several restaurants and bars in the neighborhood. Rodriguez Minimart is a block away and has a little bit of everything.
