The neighborhood was nice and quiet and our family was very much at home. What a nice surprise when the power went out in the neighborhood – the backup generator kicked in like a charm! Great response time from both Alma and Alex. A great place to stay!

We stayed in the villa de Palma for the whole month of October. We really enjoyed our stay – villa, community and the beach exceeded our expectations. When we were not on the beach, kids enjoyed the pool, playground and football game in the common space (which gave us a good break). The villa is spacious, clean, well furnished and stocked up. Furniture is comfortable, appliances worked fine. The host is very responsive and caring about our needs. We were able to make afternoon trips to Old San Juan, which is about 40 min driving from the villa.

Our stay at the Lakeside Villas was wonderful. The villa is simply stunning and beautiful. We stayed there for a week with family and we couldn’t be happier. My only regret is that we had to leave. The villa is spacious with amazing high ceilings which give it a majestic look. The pool is literally outside your patio door and it was fantastic. The villa has everything you can possibly need from pots and pans in the kitchen to beach chairs. Whenever we had a question about anything Alex was there to help us. The villa is ideal for family getaways. It is extremely comfortable. The villa is situated close to everything from beaches to restaurants. You cannot go wrong with this property and I can’t wait to go back. Thank you Alma!!!!

Thank you for allowing us to stay in this beautiful house in paradise. It was a perfect week and the villa could not have been more perfect for us. It was so warm and inviting and beds so comfortable. So clean, so beautifully decorated, and has everything we could have wanted to make our vacation perfect. The linens and towels top notch! And the beach chairs and umbrellas were perfect! Kitchen has all we could have needed for all the great dinners on the patio. We really had such a memorable week. At the villa we cooked fish, watched Game of Thrones, and laughed ourselves silly playing some godawful tennis. Among our many adventures I count 6 ocean beaches, 2 La Parguera snorkeling adventures (reef + bio bay, which was astonishing), and 4 river swimming holes, each more spectacular than the last. And the food was fabulous! Roxanne speaks Spanish, which enabled more culinary adventures than when I traveled alone. Highlights were the sampler platter at Deaverdura in OSJ, a lechonera in Guavate, and many roadside food stands. Thank you again, this trip created memories for a lifetime.

The spacious Villa de Palma provided us with a peaceful respite from the hustle and the bustle away from the larger metropolitan areas, yet it was close enough to shopping malls and other beach resorts in the Dorado area. The serenity of the complex was therapeutic to us. Every morning, we woke up to the chirping of song birds. We played many rounds of dominoes at the patio table, while enjoying outdoors BBQ dinners. The many rounds of Table Tennis at the Rec Center, just a few steps away, finally improved my game. Alex was awesome, just a phone call or text message away. Thank you, Lizzie for offering your concierge services, but we were familiar with the island and its entertainment.

Three weeks in paradise doesn’t say enough

The property was exactly as described as on the website, beautiful and fit for a king. Everything you needed was there and if not all you had to do was call Alex and he would provide. The unit was spotless inside and the grounds were beautifully maintained. We planned this trip two years in advance to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and once the time came the three weeks flew by. All our guests were taken back by Villa and the grounds. They still can’t stop talking about the wonderful time they had here and exploring Puerto Rico. We also had a chance to meet Alma and she invited us to be her Guest at an after party at the Ritz Carlton. Another great memory! This is a place I would recommend for family and friends who want to get away from it all and explore on their own. We visited the Camuy Caves, Arecibo Telescope, Dorado Beach and Old San Juan a must. There is plenty to do and see for everyone. We will be back.

This is our third year in the house. Thank you for allowing us to use your beautiful home. It feels like our home away from home when we are in Puerto Rico. This is the first time that we came without the kids as now two are married and the youngest is living in Nashville. They would have loved to have been here but it was so close to their weddings, one just having gotten married on September 18th. We also had our now annual family reunion of Melba’s family and they now look forward to this event every year here in the house. We like the upgrades to the house including wireless internet throughout the house.

Being here was a lot of fun, we saw a lot of the island. El Yunque was a lot of fun but left us sore the next day. We ate a lot at an amazing restaurant called Grappa that just opened. The beach here is also very nice. We had so much fun here so thanks for having us.

El Yunque, Camuy Caves, and El Morro were the highlights. In downtown Dorado, Pizzeria La Primavera and La Grappa were by far the best entries. The tourism office there, in downtown, is very, very helpful.

The complex is very quiet and we had the pool to ourselves most of the time, but did meet a few MA folks here to escape the weather back home.
We went to many places including Old San Juan by ferry, to El Yunque, Loquillo Beach, Fajardo, to the El Conquistador for a visit; we golfed twice and went to the Spa del Sol! Whew, it sounds busy but it was just perfect.

The first few days we had the entire complex to ourselves—just a few people around—and the pool all for us. It was heavenly, and a nice surprise.
We ventured out this week—to Old San Juan, to Arrecibo and to Fajardo for a Catamaran/snorkeling trip (great!)

My husband, two kids and I loved your home. My son 6-year-old learned to swim while here. My daughter 14 years old loved the water and feeding the ducks. This is our second time here, first time bringing the kids and it’s so wonderful.
Your home is beautiful with gorgeous antiques and this visit and your home has inspired us so much we are now looking into buying a vacation home here. This home is so spacious and kid-friendly. We had a wonderful week in your beautiful villa! The rain and clouds never slowed us down. We started in Old San Juan the Tuesday night that everyone comes out and parties, even did a little singing and playing on stage… Then we had a rainy, rainy day in the rainforest—which was cool and the bioluminescent lagoon that night. Lots of hanging out on the beach celebrating moments the sun would peek out and show us a little love. Tons of laughs, good local coffee and not a care in the world… just what half-a-dozen or so Medfield moms needed after a snowy winter.
Your home is comfortable, inviting, and easy. Thanks again and we all wish you many, many years of laughs and love with your family in this wonderful little island.
